Monthly Galvy Trip
My trips to Galveston, Texas are frequent and not anything special to some people. To me, Galveston is everything. It has my whole heart and I love coming here. The beach may not look at others but it holds so many memories for me. I love the atmosphere of the city and the cool spots that I find. My most recent trip to Galvy in March was brief but fun. I visited Mod Coffee too many times to count (but that is no surprise) and I read my book whenever I got a chance. I went to my favorite bookstore for the cheapest book prices you’ll ever see. The shop is small and old and still prints their receipts on old typewriter paper- I love it. My favorite metaphysical store was paid a visit as well. The best part was the trip to the beach. Of course, I took my regular walk on the shore but during the day, I explored a part of the beach I had yet to discover. It was at the very tip of Galveston Island, where an old fort was covered in sand and nature. It had been decorated with graffiti and sat beautifully at the bottom of a hill. It was the perfect spot for reading and drawing. I snagged a few pics before leaving once the sun set- it did not seem like a friendly place to be at night and I did not want to anger any spirits. I hope to visit soon, which I probably will.
